Sounds pretty good. Back in Breach, you could get them at all stages of the game so most of them were pretty terrible, but now that Breaches are endgame-only, they're basically just an already corrupted ring that rarely shows up and is usually still terrible. Would go a nice way in helping them be more relevant.
There are also ten new gems which behave somewhat like active and passive skills. Changing existing ones and finding new combinations radically alters your attacks. While other role-playing games require you to swap out skills,
poe currency purchase requires you to swap out gems. The expansion also adds the Abyss Challenge League where players can earn mysterious items called Abyss Jewels by fighting enemies erupting from below. Abyss Jewels can be used to further upgrade your character and items in unique ways.
This would be pretty crazy considering the only thing that would make a breach ring worse than 95% of other rings outside of a breach is like 30% resists. Inside a breachlord's domain mediocre beach rings easily beat out good (not great)
POE Orbs and such.
No need to use the cautious word borderline, they are straight up broken. Abyss jewels being the big reason why. There's literally no reason to use a non Stygian Vise belt if you're using a rare belt aside from Shaper or Elder bases, and that is yet again, another source of power creep items.
That's some illogical nonsense. They haven't done a balance pass in a while, and just because they haven't doesn't mean they won't, and definitely doesn't mean they shouldn't. It's a good suggestion, shooting it down because "hurr durr they don't do anything" is just ignorant.
